Buying Guide
What to consider when choosing a New Year handprint craft kit:
- Display space: Do you want a wall frame, a desktop keepsake, or a modular display with multiple panels?
- Media compatibility: Are you planning to include photos, pressed flowers, or pet paw prints alongside handprints?
- Paint safety: Are non-toxic, water-washable paints important for kids or pets?
- Durability: Do you prefer a sturdy wooden frame or a lightweight acrylic presentation?
- Expansion potential: Should the kit accommodate future additions as your family grows?
- Ease of use: Is a single-purchase all-in-one kit preferable to separate paints, frames, and accessories?
- Gift intent: Will you be gifting to new parents, grandparents, or siblings, and should the piece serve as nursery decor?
Practical tips
- Prepare a clean, flat work surface and wear old clothing or aprons during handprint sessions.
- Test paint on a scrap sheet to gauge color and drying time before applying to the frame.
